Dennis was born in Guangdong, China and moved to the US in middle school. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2023 with a BS in chemical engineering and minored in bioengineering. His undergraduate research involved protein structure elucidation and mechanistic studies of natural product biosynthesis. He is primarily interested in natural product synthesis.
